RCMP says 4 deaths near Neudorf, Sask., were murder-suicide

The RCMP has confirmed that the deaths of four people at a Neudorf, Sask., area farm were murder-suicide.

The four, whose bodies were discovered Sunday evening, were all members of the same family, RCMP say.

RCMP say two men, ages 67 and 30, and a woman, age 58, were victims of a homicide. The fourth person, a 34-year-old man, died from self-inflicted injuries.

Police have not named the four and say because there will be no charges. No further police updates are expected.

CBC News has confirmed that the farm, located about 116 kilometres northeast of Regina, belonged to Gary and Joanne Bender.

RCMP say the families have been updated on the investigation and victim services have been made available to them.
