Dell Technologies has expanded its commercial portfolio in India with multiple new devices. These devices include — the Latitude notebooks, Precision mobile workstations (MWS), OptiPlex All-In-One (AIO) desktop, and 34-inch Ultrasharp curved WQHD monitor. Dell claims that these new devices are “designed to help organisations accelerate their digital transformation journey in the hybrid work era.”
The latest laptops are powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processors and improved Dell Optimizer features that promise to enhance personalisation. Meanwhile, the Dell Ultrasharp 34-inch curved USB-C Hub monitor with a 3-sided bezel design comes with IPS Black technology and ComfortView Plus.

Improved Dell Optimizer: What is it
The company claims that the latest version of Dell Optimizer “extends intelligence from the PC to the overall computing ecosystem.” It allows users to manage displays and peripherals in one interface. The features include intelligent audio, privacy, connectivity, and collaboration that promises to adapt to users’ working styles.
Dell Latitude series laptops: Key features
Dell claims that the latest Latitude 9440 2-in-1 laptop is designed to address customers’ evolving remote working requirements. The company also claims that this is the world’s smallest 14-inch commercial PC that sports a 16:10 aspect ratio and InfinityEdge QHD+ display. The design of these laptops is inspired by Dell’s XPS lineup which are also equipped with the world’s first haptic collaboration touchpad and a zero-lattice keyboard.
These laptops also have an updated thermal design with rear venting dual fan systems for heat dissipation. Dell also claims that it has reduced the backlit keyboard power usage by up to 75% and increased battery life by up to three hours with the new mini-LED backlit keyboard technology.
Meanwhile, the latest Latitude 7000 series includes three new models — Latitude 7340, 7440 and 7640. The company claims that these notebooks are the world’s smallest and lightest 13.3-inch and 14-inch commercial laptop models that weigh nearly a kilogram. These devices also sport 16:10 displays with 5% more screen space. Both models are available in 2-in-1 configurations and include optional Wi-Fi 6E and 5G support.
The company has also unveiled the Latitude 5440 laptop. The redesigned chassis is also available in Dell Latitude 3000 series which includes — Latitude 3540, 3340, and 3440.
Dell Precision series laptops: Key features
The new Precision 5680 is powered by Intel Core i9 (45W) processors backed with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and the Nvidia RTX 5000 Ada Generation laptop GPU. The Precision 5680 features a 16:10, three-sided InfinityEdge display, haptic trackpad, quad-speaker setup, up to UHD+ PremierColor display, along with an FHD IR camera with proximity and ambient light sensor. It also has an HDMI port, a full-size SD card slot, and an optional smart card reader.
Dell has also updated other models in the Precision portfolio – Precision 3480, the entry-level workstation and Precision 7780, the most powerful mobile workstation in the portfolio. The Precision 3480 is a 14-inch workstation while the Precision 7780 is a 17-inch device.
Dell new monitors: Key features
Dell’s new OptiPlex portfolio includes the OptiPlex 7410 AIO desktop. The AIO system has a 24-inch desktop which is powered by up to Intel Core i9 processors and 64GB DDR5 memory. This system also includes a retractable 5MP Full HD IR camera with Express Sign-in and intelligent privacy. The display comes with multiple stand options along with low blue light-certified touch and non-touch panel options.
The company has also introduced the Ultrasharp 34-inch curved USB-C Hub WQHD monitor, which comes with IPS Black technology, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and improved black and grey performance. This monitor has a colour depth of 1.07 billion colours, 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB. It also features ComfortView Plus, which reduces low blue light emission without compromising display colour, and built-in speakers. The built-in cable management system reduces cable clutter, and the monitor offers full adjustability.

The Latitude 5000 series are built with recycled plastics, reclaimed carbon fibre, renewable materials and ocean-bound plastics. Dell’s usage of recycled and renewable plastic (by weight) has increased by 64% over the previous generation of the 5000 series.
Additionally, Latitude 9440 and Precision 5680 include 75% recycled aluminium in the chassis and for the first time, Dell is introducing recycled copper in the power adapters of Latitude 9440, Precision 5680 and Precision 3000 series.
The entire Latitude and Precision portfolios continue to ship with 100% recycled or renewable packaging. Moreover, Dell Optimizer’s ‘Quiet Mode’ setting claims to provide up to 18% in power savings.
Finally, Dell also offers the EcoLoop carrying cases that are made with 100% ocean-bound plastic from up to 11 recycled plastic bottles. The dyeing process of the bags generates 90% less wastewater, up to 62% less CO2 emissions, and uses up to 29% less energy.
