Dodgers complete remarkable Game 5 comeback against Yankees to win 8th World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees 7-6 on Wednesday, winning the eighth World Series in franchise history.

Down five runs heading into the fifth inning, the Yankees committed a series of errors that allowed Los Angeles back into the game.

After trailing five runs through four innings, the Dodgers managed to complete the largest ever comeback win in a World Series clinching game.

It is the Dodgers’ first World Series title since 2020.
