Aussie cricket legend Glenn McGrath grabs a snake with his bare hands and removes it from his home after finding THREE inside his property: ‘Steve Irwin couldn’t have done it any better’

Aussie Cricket legend Glenn McGrath bravely grappled three snakes with his bare hands after finding the carpet pythons slithering inside his rural Queensland property on Wednesday.

The former test cricketer, 53, shared photos and footage of himself capturing the serpents in different locations around his house.

One python was inside his pantry, one was in the living room and another was making its way across the hall.

Glenn was seen bravely removing one from his property by grabbing its tail, carefully wrapping it around a mop and then taking it outside.

His worried wife Sara screamed out, ‘You’re going to get bitten’, but a brave Glenn reassured her he had the situation under control.

‘After plenty of encouragement and support from my wife, all three Coastal Carpet Pythons that were in the house were safely released back into the bush,’ he wrote next to the video.

Fortunately, Glenn was in no real danger as the carpet python is a non venomous snake.

Many of Glenn’s fans were quick to gush over how he bravely removed the snakes from his property.
