Fears grow for missing girls, 14 and 15, who may have travelled hundreds of miles from home 

Police are concerned for two missing girls who disappeared together and may have travelled hundreds of miles from their home. 

Isabelle, 14, from Ilkeston, and Mya, 15, from Long Eaton, are believed to be friends and were both last seen at their homes in Derbyshire on Thursday evening. 

The girls are thought to have travelled together to Skegness in Lincolnshire, but could now be heading towards Birmingham or London, according to Derbyshire Police. 

The force said that Isabelle is described as having very long brown hair and may be wearing a white cropped top and black hoodie, black cropped leggings, white trainers and socks. She may also be wearing sunglasses and carrying a shoulder bag.

Mya is described as having shoulder length black hair and brown eyes and may be wearing a brown short dress, a black hoodie, black tights and black and white trainers.

Derbyshire Police said: ‘We are concerned for two teenage girls who have been reported missing from the Erewash area. 

‘The girls are thought to have travelled to the Skegness area, but could now be heading towards the Birmingham or London areas.

‘If you have seen either Isabelle or Mya, or if you have any information on where they are, please contact us on the details below, quoting reference 859 of 6 July.’
