A private jet carrying actor and comedian Gabriel Iglesias has slid off a runway and ended up at least 100 yards into a field after a ‘turbulent landing’.
The 46-year-old, who is also known as Fluffy, had been travelling from Albertville, in Alabama, to Andrews, North Carolina earlier this afternoon aboard a Gulfstream jet.
Iglesias had been travelling to North Carolina for his next show on his ‘Don’t Worry, Be Fluffy’ tour, which is due to take place at Harrah’s Cherokee Event Center tonight.
He told TMZ that after the jet touched down the reverse thrusters failed and the plane continued down the runway.
The comedian also told the site that on the final approach there was horrible turbulence and he hit his head on the ceiling of the plane.
The standup comedian shared a video of the aftermath onto his social media, and confirmed nobody had been injured in the incident

He said: ‘As we were going down we were picturing a scene from ‘Almost Famous’ where everyone felt they were going to die.
‘We all told each other, ‘We love you!’ thinking it was the end.’
According to the TMZ, there had been six passengers on board, two pilots and two chihuahuas.
Video footage shared on social media by Iglesias shows the Gulfstream jet caked in mud.
A trail of ripped grass can be seen behind it leading all the way to the end of the runway, where fire crews are also seen.
Those onboard can be seen carrying their luggage as they trudge back to the tarmac.
Alongside his post, Iglesias said: ‘Emergency landing!!! Our private jet skid off the runway and wound up in a field in Andrew’s, N. Carolina.
‘Everyone is ok but shaken up. Happy to be alive. I love u all.’
