The View’s Sara Haines confessed that she use to ‘actively’ pursue relationships with ‘older men’ before meeting her younger husband, Max Shifrin, through OkCupid.

While discussing relationships with Ana Navarro, Joy Behar and Rachel Lindsay, who was filling in for co-host Sunny Hostin, the 45-year-old TV host opened up about her dating history.

After Behar, 80, claimed nobody just goes out and looks ‘for an older guy,’ Haines left viewers stunned as she interjected to say: ‘Oh, you do.’

‘I was hunting actively for older men,’ the mother-of-three admitted, leaving her co-hosts a bit shocked. ‘They were the only thing that attracted me.’

She continued: ‘I had some daddy issues, but it’s fine.’

Behar retorted: ‘I must have mommy issues then because all of my boyfriends have always been younger.’

Shocking the audience: While discussing relationships with Ana Navarro, Joy Behar and Rachel Lindsay, who was filling in for co-host Sunny Hostin, the 45-year-old TV host opened up about her dating history

Lindsay, best known for serving as The Bachelorette in 2017, shared her own story about the one time she ever dated an older man.

The 37-year-old recalled, to her dismay, that her former partner ‘tried to take her to a swingers’ club.’

Navarro then said one of the appeals of an older guy is you don’t have to ‘train them.’

Self-aware: She continued: ‘I had some daddy issues, but it’s fine’

Still, Haines has been vocal about her happy marriage to Shifrin, who she wed in 2014.

The couple, who welcomed their third child Caleb Joseph in 2019, are also parents to daughter Sandra, five, and Alec, six.

Last month, Haines made headlines for saying she offers her spouse a little X-rated incentive to take over bedtime duty with their three young children.

During an episode of The View, the journalist joked about exchanging ‘transactional deals’ with her man when he gets them to sleep.

On another segment, Haines and the other co-hosts all joked that for men, sex was the answer to everything.

‘I’m happy, I have sex. I’m tired, I have sex. I’m depressed, I have sex. It’s kind of a one note thing,’ Haines said of men’s thought process.

‘It’s funny, because knowing how men and women are so — I’m painting with broad strokes here — different in how we think, there have been times where, this just happened the other day, where our bedtime is really raucous,’ she said.

‘There’s always one running and darting, and it’s such a physical job,’ she went on. ‘The physical up, down, we’re at our empty tanks.’
