Overall, he said his night in the hospital was ‘not bad at all’ and he is happy with the results.

The dad-of-two, who is already walking and able to shrug his shoulders, said he was able to sleep through the night after being given valium and percocet.

On Thursday, he kept fans in the loop from his ride to the hospital as well as a selfie before going under surgery, which he raved ‘went great.’

‘Already been up and out of my bed 3 times cruising the surgery center. Ended up fusing the vertebrae because the joint was a bit hammered,’ he wrote alongside a photo of himself in the hospital bed.

In October 2021, he raved that his disc replacement in his neck ‘drastically helped’ his ‘scoliosis and position of my hips.’

His latest two operations come after getting a M6 disc replacement — a procedure in which an artificial disc is placed in the spine that mimic’s its natural structure and movement.

Hart previously said he had to get the surgeries because doctors thought he compression-fractured his lower spine ‘at least 10 to 12 times’ over his 30-year plus career in motocross.

In 2014, he told Rolling Stone: ‘I’ve broken everything you could imagine.’

‘I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been laying in the dirt, something broken, bone sticking out, just thinking ‘Why the f**k do I keep doing this?’ But you go to the hospital, you get stitched up, or bolted back together, and you go home and heal, and eventually you start to forget the injury and start to miss your motorcycle,’ he said.

Hart had previously said on the Boozed And Bruised podcast in 2017 that ‘he stopped counting his broken bones when he got into the eighties.’

The injuries have forced Hart to undergone at least ten procedures including a spinal surgery in 2014, an unspecified back procedure in 2019 and a rotator cuff surgery in August 2020.

Meanwhile in November 2021, he supported his wife after she underwent hip surgery at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.

The So What songstress credited Hart for his devotion in helping her recovery, saying ‘he brought me coffee in the shower, lugged around my 100 pound CPM contraptions every where I went, dried my tears, cooked me oatmeal, kept track of my meds, got me my phone charger, plugged in my compression machines, took my temp, made the bed, and talked me off the ledge.’

She went on to say that ‘life always reminds you that most setbacks are actually just pauses and opportunities to recalibrate and count your blessings.’

‘I’m impressed by those that face real, hard challenges, and alchemize their situation into something magical, or meaningful,’ she added. ‘It is humbling for a very independent person like myself to be rendered physically unable and dependent, even if for a couple of months.
