Mayhem ensued in Tenerife last night as England and Wales fans clashed in a violent brawl after thousands travelled to the Spanish resort island to watch the World Cup.
Dozens of hooligans aggressively punched, kicked and threw chairs at each other in a violent fight on the Veronicas Strip on the Playa de las Americas.
Shocking footage shared on Twitter shows a group of young men, many not wearing shirts, getting into a brutal altercation with a number of older looking men while dozens of spectators watched on and recorded the fight on their phones.
As the video pans round it is clear that several simultaneous fights were taking place outside Revolution nightclub, an infamous party hotspot on the island.

Several of the men can be seen sporting England and Wales football shirts, while another drops his Wales bucket hat as he gets punched in the face after throwing a wooden chair.
The video, which has more than 200,000 views, lasts for nearly two minutes before the scene appears to begin to calm down.
People on Twitter described the brawl as ’embarrassing’ and pointed out the calmer scenes in Doha where alcohol has been banned in the stadiums.
One man said: ‘What a terrible advert for British football. Grown men fighting over the result of 22 men kicking a ball around a pitch of grass.’
Another added: ‘Why do we always embarrass ourselves abroad? Are other Europeans like this in their holiday resorts?’

Thousands of football fans from the home nations are thought to have travelled to the Canary Islands to watch the World Cup in warmer weather, amid concerns about travelling to Qatar.
It is thought that around 2,500 Wales fans are in Tenerife for the tournament, with many citing the cost and moral reasons for not travelling to the host country.
The idea to go to the Canary Islands instead was first suggested by Wales supporter Bethany Evans, from Nelson in Caerphilly, who told ITV Wales: ‘It literally started as a joke that I made on Twitter.
‘The day we qualified I was looking for flights and things to Qatar and wasn’t able to get any quite cheap. So I just posted on Twitter for a joke, “does anyone fancy Tenerife, it’s still warm and cheap?”
‘I made arrangements with two bars that have agreed to host Wales fans. They’ve kitted out their bars in everything Wales, flags, bunting, etc, hired in catering companies for food, and also a lot bought a lot of extra beer in, they said, for us.’

Fan zones have been set up in Tenerife after Wales supporter Bethany Evans, from Nelson in Caerphilly, suggested going to the island for the tournament
She continued: ‘It’s amazing in all honesty. Watching the first World Cup that I’ve seen Wales playing, it’s just absolutely amazing and it’s something that I’ll never forget.
‘Knowing that I’ve arranged something that is going to have that effect on other people as well is absolutely insane. This could be people’s first or even last World Cup that they ever get to see Wales play and that feeling is something that I will never forget.’
As it stands England tops group B and just needs one point in their final game against Wales next Tuesday in order to qualify.
Meanwhile, Wales either need to beat England by more than four goals, or they must beat England and rely on the USA and Iran to draw in order to get out of the group stages of their first world cup since 1958.
Gareth Bale’s team lost 2-0 yesterday in their match against Iran while the England squad had a disappointing 0-0 result in their game with the USA.
The final two group B matches will both take place next Tuesday at 7pm.
