WATCH: ‘Drunk’ JCB driver crashes into house in South Wales

A man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and drink driving after a JCG digger was filmed ramming into a house and car in a bizarre street rampage.

Neighbours watched in shock as the digger backed up before lurching forwards towards the house in Blackwood, South Wales on Tuesday, and hitting its porch.

The digger driver also rams into a silver Ford Focus on the house’s driveway – almost flipping it over with the digger’s bucket.

Footage filmed by onlookers shows the driver holding his phone calmly behind the wheel of the JCB as he carries out the bash attack.

A man and woman emerge from the house – and appear stunned as they wave their hands seemingly pleading for the driver to stop.

A three-minute clip of the incident on Tuesday was filmed by workmen parked in a van nearby and later uploaded online.

A voice from the van can be heard saying: ‘Got it all on film for you, alright mate? Got it all on film. F***ing d***head, what’s he f***ing doing? F***ing joke.’

Another voice says: ‘Get his registration.’

Neighbours in the street are mystified by the attack – and estimated the damage as ‘at least £50,000.’
