Realme is set to announce its next tablet – the Pad X – in China on May 26. The upcoming tablet will be succeeding the Realme Pad and Pad Mini. The announcement for Realme Pad X is scheduled for May 26 at 2 PM local time (11:30 AM IST). The company has not kept much tighter lips on the upcoming tablet. The company executives have been sharing teasers on the Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo, revealing key specifications of the upcoming Pad X ahead of the launch.
The teasers shared on Weibo suggest that the Realme Pad X will feature an 11-inch display with 2K resolution. However, we don’t get to know about the display’s refresh rate, but it could have a 90Hz refresh rate. The Pad X will have the hardware-grade anti-blue light filter, and the panel is said to have Low Blue Light certification from Rheinland. Further, the tablet will come with a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
Another teaser shared by the Realme executive shows that the upcoming tablet will boast an 8340mAH battery. And it will be the company’s fastest charging tablet until now with support for 33W fast charging. The Realme Pad and Pad Mini come with 18W fast charging support.
As confirmed earlier, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset will power the Realme Pad X. The upcoming tablet might come with stylus support but we don’t know if the stylus will be included in the box or not. The Realme Pad X would come in three colourways – fluorescent green checkerboard, sea salt blue, and star grey.
