Realme confirms battery and display specs of its upcoming affordable 5G smartphone

Realme 9i 5G

Realme is all set to launch its 9i 5G smartphone on August 18. Ahead of the official launch, the company has already confirmed that the handset will be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset. Now, the company has made the microsite for the handset live which also reveals a couple of other key details about the upcoming smartphone.

According to the microsite, the Realme 9i will be backed by a 5000mAh battery. Apart from that, the site also confirms a 90Hz refresh rate display along with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The site also mentions that the handset will be 8,1mm thick.

Talking about other details revealed at the microsite is the design details of the handset. The microsite includes a couple of photos of the handset which features a triple rear camera setup at the back along with an LED flash. The handset is also confirmed to come with ‘Laser Light Design’.

That’s all, the website does not reveal any other details bout the smartphone. However, it is important to note that this will be the 5G version of the Realine 9i that’s currently on sale. The 4G version of the phone comes with a 6.6-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. And, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and comes with a 50MP triple rear camera setup.

We are expecting that Realme will retain most of the features from the 4G variant to Realme 9i 5G smartphone.
