India will mark its 75th Independence Day on August 15, 2022. The Government of India announced ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which sheds light on the 75 years of Independence from British rule.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is an initiative that is a part of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ that has led to a change in profile picture of the citizens of India. The campaign was launched on July 22 by the Prime Minister of India– Narendra Modi. The initiative aims at encouraging people across the country to hoist the national flag to raise awareness. The recent amendments made to the Flag code of India allows citizens to hoist the national flag during the day and night.
