If you thought that Apple’s Vision Pro at $3,499 is expensive, then you would be stunned to know there is a gold-plated Vision Pro that costs ten times more than what Apple is asking for its Vision Pro.
Caviar’s Vision Pro, which it is calling the Apple Vision Pro CVR Edition, the Spatial splendor, is 18K gold plated with a leather head mount and a gold visor that covers the front of the headset. You can get this for just $46,000, about Rs 37,74,139.
This custom-made Vision Pro takes inspiration from top fashion accessories like Tom Ford‘s flip-up glasses and Gucci ski masks to turn the Apple Vision Pro into a perfect blend of technology and style, as per the company.
The headset’s design features more than 1.5 kilograms of 18K. The head mount is crafted from Connolly leather, known for its quality, and supplied to the British Royal Court and Rolls-Royce.
In a press release, the company says that the headset boasts advanced features and is a work of art that blends in seamlessly with your personal space. Well, you can also find advanced features inside the $3,499 Vision Pro, but if you want that work of art, you have to spend ten times more.
Caviar also takes a jibe at Vision Pro’s Eyesight feature, which shows the user’s eyes on the outside, and it has received mixed reactions from the public. However, Caviar has come up with a solution that gives users full control over their privacy. There is a gold-plated visor covering the headset, so users can now choose when to reveal themselves.
With such an exorbitant price, the Vision Pro CVR Edition will be a rarity, like other Caviar-made products. There will only be 24 units available.
The Apple Vision Pro Caviar Edition will be available for order approximately in the fall of 2024, a few months later after Apple is expected to ship the headset.
