Apple Music Classical now available on Android: How to get started with the app

Apple has finally made its new Apple Music Classical app for Android. For those who aren’t aware, the app includes a vast collection of curated playlists and exclusive albums from over 5 million tracks. It will also offer composer biographies, deep-dive guides for many key works and intuitive browsing features, among others.

If you are planning to try out the new Apple Music Classical app, here’s our step-by-step guide on how to get started.

Before proceeding with the downloading steps, there are certain things you should know about it.

  • An Android device running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later.
  • A stable internet connection.
  • Sufficient storage space on your device to accommodate the music files.
  • Also, do note that you won’t need a separate subscription for Apple Music Classical. If you have an existing Apple Music subscription, it will work with Apple Music Classical.

How to get started with Apple Music Classical on Android
Download the app
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Search for “Apple Music Classical” in the search bar.
Locate the Apple Music app developed by Apple Inc.
Tap on “Install” to download and install the app on your device.

Launch the Apple Music Classical app.
If you already have an Apple ID, enter your credentials (email address and password) and tap “Sign In.”
If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap “Create New Apple ID” and follow the on-screen instructions to create one.
Choose a Subscription:

Apple Music offers a free trial for new users. Select “Start Trial” if you wish to try it out.
Alternatively, you can select a subscription plan that suits your needs and budget.
Explore and Listen to Classical Music:

Apple Music Classical allows you to download music for offline listening, which can be useful when you don’t have an internet connection. To download classical tracks or playlists, find the desired content and tap the download button (looks like a cloud with a down arrow).
The downloaded music will be available in the “Library” tab under the “Downloaded Music” section.
