Apple displays Shot on iPhone pictures created through photo fusion editor app

The #shotoniPhone campaign is used quite extensively by Apple to promote the iPhone cameras as well as certain photographers, designers and artists. Apple, according to a report by 9to5Mac, commissioned graphic designer Gaia Barnatan to fusion a few Shot on iPhone images through an editing app available on the iPhone.

Apple’s Instagram handle shows how the graphic designer creates image fusions by editing on the iPhone. “You can make anything you can imagine” with it, writes Apple.

The report quotes Barnatan who said, “These surreal collages are unique and unconventional. They encourage spontaneity and moving beyond what is predictable. In other art forms, I’ve explored, there was this pressure I put on myself to get things “right.” For me, this style helps to alleviate those expectations and allows me to be more playful and experimental in my approach. It has enabled me to be really open in my creative expression.”

Apple has showcased eight Shot on iPhone images used to create four different collages via Bazaart, a photo and video editing app.

Users can remove the background from any photo with the help of a background eraser. Additionally, it’s also possible to remove unwanted objects and people from any photo through “surgical precision” by using the repair tool.

Photo layers up to 100 and 5 video layers can be added in Bazaart where each layer can be independently edited along with reversible changes.

There are two subscription options available in Bazaart premium — $11.99 per month or $71.99 per month. It also provides the magic background remover and the ability to create unlimited through a wide collection of graphics, templates, and fonts. It can be availed from the app store.
