Snapchat is a well-known social networking app that allows its users to share photos, videos, and other types of media via snaps. Sometimes, you may get irritated or need a break from the app. There is currently no direct feature to deactivate it in this regard – instead, you have to delete it. Go to the Snapchat account portal (Snapchat) and fill in all your account details.
You will be routed to the account deletion page. Enter your password and continue.
You Snapchat account will be deactivated for 30 days or deleted.
The account will be deactivated for 30 days after you have finished the account deletion process on your end. If your mind changes during this time, you can reactivate your account. However, all of your Snapchat data, including account settings, friends, snaps, chats, stories, device data, and location data in the primary user database, will be permanently deleted after 30 days. How can you reactivate your Snapchat account?
Within 30 days of deactivating your account, simply enter your username into the Snapchat app.
You can only log in using your username and password while your account is deactivated. You cannot change your password or log in using your email address.
Note: Sometimes it takes 24 hours to reactivate a deactivated account.
