Android smartphones come with a built-in Find my mobile service (Click here to read in detail how it works) which allows users to locate their lost smartphone using their linked Google account. Google’s Find My Device service works on all phones running on Android 8 or above. In most phones, the Find My Device feature is enabled by default. Still, it is always better to check when you get a new Android phone. Two, for the feature to work, location services need to be on and the user needs to be signed into his Google account. Samsung smartphones come with the company’s own Find my mobile feature which offers more or less the same benefits.
