We are getting closer to the unveiling of Samsung’s next batch of foldables, and the internet is flooding with new information about the two foldable smartphones every new day. We know that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come with improved internals, and even the design is tipped to be refreshed to make them more compact, and dimensions leaked in the past corroborate that. Now, it is being tipped that the two foldables will feature an improved hinge, making them easier to handle.
According to a tweet by tipster IceUniverse, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a narrower hinge compared to its predecessor. The tipster also shared the renders of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Fold 3, showing the difference between the hinges on both the foldables. Moreover, a set of leaked pictures of cases for Galaxy Flip 4 also suggests that the South Korean giant has narrowed down the hinge on the smartphone, making it more compact and easy to handle.
Earlier it was being reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a more boxy design than the Z Fold 3, and it would even be a bit less narrow than its predecessor. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to have almost the same design as the Z Flip 3, with a 6.7-inch inner display and a tad bigger outer display measuring at 2-inches. However, it is expected to be slightly thicker at 7.2mm, which could be due to a larger 3500mAh battery.
