Bulldogs star Viliame Kikau will await to find out his fate with the match review committee after he was placed on report for a high shot against the Sharks.
Midway through the first half with the Bulldogs leading 12-0, Kikau hit Cronulla hooker Blayke Brailey across the face with an old fashioned stiff arm.
“He put everything into it,” NRL Immortal Andrew Johns said on Nine.

The enforcer wasn’t immediately put on report until replays showed his unnecessary act.

Referee Gerard Sutton then put Kikau on report but the second-rower stayed on the field.

It was a costly act for his side, with the Sharks making the most of their attacking territory.
The next set, Briton Nikora caught a short ball from Cam McInnes, with Kikau missing the first tackle before he carried defenders over the tryline to score.
