Dolphins coach Wayne Bennett produced another iconic press conference after his side’s 30-14 win over the Titans.
The Dolphins have won their past two matches, along with having a bye, and now sit on top of the ladder.
Told his side was now provisionally first, equal with the Panthers, Cowboys and Storm, Bennett produced a rare press conference smile and made a seasonal joke.

“Wow, I probably won’t get near the Easter Bunny now, I’ll be more popular than him,” he laughed.
“How good’s that, hey? Three weeks into the competition.”
Bennett’s Dolphins had to come from behind at Cbus Super Stadium, after the Titans went out to a 10-0 lead.
The away side was also at a disadvantage in the first half when Max Plath was sin-binned but managed to not concede a point in his absence.

In a dominant second half for the Dolphins, the biggest highlight was a rare try assist to Jesse Bromwich who put his fellow prop Josh Kerr through a hole to score in the 69th minute.
Bromwich was asked about his try assist post-match but didn’t offer much of a reply, before Bennett cheekily interjected: “Ask Josh about it”.
Prompted about the form of Kerr, Bennett jokingly replied with a laugh: “Don’t say that”.
“Let us handle Josh, OK … Don’t start giving him wraps.”
Bennett was in the mood to praise some other players, though, namely Jamayne Isaako who kicked two important sideline conversions in the first half.
”I think the thing that shouldn’t be forgotten here is Jamayne Isaako’s two goals, we could’ve been (down) 10-8 at half-time but we were up 12-10 and they were both from the sideline,” he said.
“He practises a lot, he’s a very dedicated, wonderful player for us and part of the team, and is doing those little things that give you an edge.”
