Blues coach Brad Fittler has indicated changes to the NSW squad are likely in the wake of their disappointing Origin I loss.
“It’s a fair way away. (Tom Trbojevic) is out for 11 days, there’s a few blokes that came off injured, so we’ll see what happens in the next couple of weeks,” he said after the match.
Trbojevic was assessed to have suffered a category one concussion.

Given the Sea Eagles’ round 15 clash against the Dolphins is on the Friday night, his next opportunity to play wouldn’t be until Origin II if picked.
Fittler said he expected Latrell Mitchell to be fit, which would see him take his place at left centre. If Trbojevic is left out, Campbell Graham would come into contention, which could force Stephen Crichton out of the side.
Fittler said he hoped to “catch up” with Mitchell in the coming days.

“He sent the boys a message saying things were going pretty good so hopefully he’s fit and ready to be picke,” Fittler said.
Fittler said he was disappointed in the Blues disjointed attack.
“When we got to the front, I was pretty excited. We got a bad start, but they just kept going, although things didn’t look that smooth,” he said.
“The last 10 minutes we didn’t handle very well at all, especially when they were down to 12. We’ll go back and look how that all happened, but I thought we were in control, we got to the front, got a restart and then went backwards.”

No Blues side has ever levelled a series in Queensland and gone on to win the series. When asked if the prospect of winning the series from here was impossible, Fittler remained upbeat.
“Nothing is impossible. It’s obviously very tough, but it’s what it is, we need to regroup and be better. We’ve gotta be better,” he said.
“We’ve played together enough times that when you get enough good ball like that, to score more tries.
“We mostly let ourselves down in that area but that’s the challenge ahead. We can’t avoid it.”
Game two is on June 21.
