Portugal star Joao Cancelo is set to leave Manchester City on a $108m deal after a reported training ground bust-up with manager Pep Guardiola.
The fullback is believed to have travelled to Bayern Munich ahead of a likely loan move to the German champions, who would then have an option to buy him for $108m.
Cancelo played an integral role for Premier League champions City in recent seasons but has rapidly fallen out of favour with Guardiola since last year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 28-year-old has started only three of City’s nine games since the World Cup with Nathan Ake, Kyle Walker and Rico Lewis generally preferred.
The Daily Mail reported that Cancelo “reacted angrily” after he learned that he would not be in the starting XI for City’s FA Cup clash with Arsenal last weekend.
“Cancelo has been vocal in recent weeks at a lack of game time and has become disruptive to the squad while his relationship with Guardiola progressively deteriorated after the World Cup,” the British newspaper stated.

“The 28-year-old Portugal international threatened to leave the club, and such was the severity of the situation, City gave Cancelo the green light to depart once he brought a loan offer from Bayern to the table with the relationship between player and manager beyond repair.”
Neither City nor Bayern have commented officially on any deal for Cancelo.
The European transfer window closes on Tuesday.
