New Zealand’s Best Homes With Phil Spencer
10pm, Channel 4
“Can you imagine living here?” It’s a tantalising – almost torturous – question posed by the property guru Phil Spencer at the start of this new series, in which he tours some of New Zealand’s most impressive homes. The first is a collection of stone barns in Queenstown, on the shores of Lake Wakatipu on South Island, with panoramic views of the lake and hills that leave him speechless. Next, it’s a holiday home perched on a cliff edge on the Hibiscus coast. Hollie Richardson

Also needing some love are a glockenspiel, a children’s book and a wooden toy. Jack Seale

David Mitchell’s perma-puzzled hero dons his hard hat to investigate after a man falls to his death on a building site. In true Ludwig style, it turns out he is scared of heights – and there is more to the case than meets the eye. Lucy (Anna Maxwell Martin), meanwhile, is frustrated that there is no news about her missing husband. Hannah Verdier
