A small child was rushed to hospital after plummeting several metres to the ground from a balcony.
The young boy fell ‘two to three metres’ from a unit balcony onto a concrete path in the southern Sydney suburb of Penshurst on Saturday afternoon.
The fall is believed to be accidental though investigations are proceeding.

The boy was rushed to hospital after plummeting several metres to the ground from a balcony
He was placed in a stretcher and treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital.
The extent of the child’s injuries are unclear but he is understood to be breathing and conscious.
NSW Ambulance confirmed multiple road crews attended the scene.
