A desperate search for an eight-year-old boy after he mysteriously vanished in far northern NSW has come to a happy end after he was found safe and well.

Kaiser Pattemore was last seen on Franklin Street, Banora Point near Tweed Heads about 4pm Sunday and hadn’t been seen or heard from until police located him on Monday.

‘A boy missing from the state’s far north has been located safe and well,’ NSW Police said.

‘Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.’

Kaiser was missing for almost 24 hours before he was found on Monday, just after 12pm.

Kaiser was last seen wearing black pants and a black hooded jacket, with a bum-bag and white sneakers.

An appeal posted online by NSW Police went viral and attracted more than 300 shares within minutes.

Anyone who has seen Kaiser or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
