She’s the Australian Survivor star known for her athletic physique.

And Shayelle Lajoie showcased her toned figure on Thursday as she headed to her local gym on the Sunshine Coast for a workout.

The keen surfer, 31, went makeup free as she spoke to a friend and a personal trainer outside the gym.

She teamed a pair of black bike shorts with a baggy yellow sweater.

She completed her sporty look with long black socks and sneakers for what appeared to be a power-lifting session. 

Shayelle, whose hair was in braids, carried a water bottle under her arm and texted on her phone as she walked around.

The brunette is known for her love of surfing and yoga.

Shayelle was a contestant on Australian Survivor: Blood Vs Water earlier this year, appearing on the Channel 10 show with her then-boyfriend Ben Watson.

She previously said she was cast because of her strength and determination.

‘Because I am physically strong, socially adaptable and certainly not one to back away from a challenge,’ she said.

Shayelle said she wants to focus on her biomedical studies after the show, but is not opposed to another reality TV opportunity.

She told The Latch in April: ‘I’m just going back to uni; I’m halfway through and I really just want to finish my degree.

‘But if that means every second semester taking it easy and going into a reality show, I’m down for that!’
