Sarah Todd reveals the surprising reality show she wants to appear on next after MasterChef

Sarah Todd just placed runner-up on MasterChef Australia: Fans and Faves.

And the 34-year-old celebrity chef now has her sights on another reality TV show.

Sarah told TV Week after Tuesday’s MasterChef finale she would love to appear on Dancing with the Stars.

‘I’m a terrible dancer – well I’m not terrible, but I love to dance and I’ve always dreamt of going on Dancing with the Stars,’ she said.

She added: ‘I’m obsessed with it, I just love watching it and I did some dancing in high school and that’s something that I would definitely be interested in.’

Sarah first appeared on MasterChef in 2014 and returned as a ‘fave’ this year.

She placed runner-up after going head to head in a cook-off against Billie McKay. 

Sarah said her latest stint on the show helped perfect her ‘cooking style’, explaining: ‘This time around, I feel like it gave me time to just focus on my craft.’ 

Billie won the $250,000 cash prize on Tuesday after plating up a ‘mind-blowing’ final dish for the judges.

The two finalists were tasked with recreating an elaborate dessert made famous by guest judge Heston Blumenthal.

The judges were most impressed with Billie, whose dish they called ‘better than good’ and ‘unbelievable’.

She scored a nine out of 10 from each judge except for Melissa Leong, who gave her a perfect score of 10.

Sarah did not go home empty handed, winning $30,000 for second place.
