Three people are being questioned about the suspicious death of a man whose body was found near a train station in inner Brisbane.

The man’s body was found at the Valley Metro food court above the Fortitude Valley train station at about 4am on Monday.

Queensland Police are questioning three people about the death and have cordoned off the area as they investigate.

It’s understood an altercation kicked off between two groups early on Monday morning leaving one man with critical injuries, Nine News reported. 

Train services are expected to operate as usual while a swarm of police officers remain at the scene. 

Police have cordoned off the Valley Metro shopping mall with residents told to use the back entrance.

Investigations are continuing.
