Celebrity hairdresser Joh Bailey has finally tied the knot with his long-time partner Michael Christie.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the pair threw a ‘small and intimate ceremony’ with friends and family.
They were originally planning to have a lavish ‘big fat gay wedding’ in Bowral back in 2020, until the Covid pandemic forced them to delay the nuptials.

Joh and Michael ended up marrying at Cable Beach in Broome, with just 25 guests attending.
‘Having had to cancel and change plans many times due to Covid, this celebration turned into one of the most magical days of our lives,’ Joh told the Daily Telegraph.
‘I’m so content and happy with the life Michael and I have created, and I’m so excited about the future.’
The famed hairdresser previously opened up about postponing his original wedding back in 2020.

‘It was the only thing we could do, no one could predict how this was going to go and the last thing we needed was the anxiety,’ he told the Sydney Morning Herald at the time.
The original guest list included the likes of broadcaster Alan Jones, TV legend Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Real Housewives of Sydney star Nicole Gazal O’Neil.
According to Private Sydney, the wedding was scheduled to be held at Joh’s ‘Wideacre’ estate in the NSW Southern Highlands.
‘It’s my big fat gay wedding,’ Joh told the publication last week.
Over the past 35 years, Joh’s clientele has included Olivia Newton-John, Kylie Minogue, Eva Longoria, Elle Macpherson and most notably the late Princess Diana.
