Drew Lee, also called Andrew Lee from Justice & Lee, has passed away. Lee’s morning co-host at AM 1130 KTLK, Jon Justice, made the devastating revelation on Monday morning.
He announced the news from a hospital bed at the University of Minnesota, where he was recovering from open-heart surgery. Justice, co-host of the Justice and Drew Show expressed how sad he was when he learned about Drew’s death.
I cannot wait to get home to Melinda, my boys Kyle and Logan and my dog Artemis. But I’m dreading with this finally sinking in. I loved Drew so much, can’t believe he’s gone and I won’t just be able to text him, call him and do our show together anymore. #TCNT pic.twitter.com/jDEHYiQIf9

He said making this announcement was the hardest thing he has ever done in his radio career. However, he had asked the deceased’s family to be the one to announce the news to the world. Drew was his best friend, and everyone at iHeart was grieving his demise.
Justice claimed that he had been messaging and laughing with Lee in the hours leading up to his passing on Saturday. In addition, Lee had posted a tweet himself at 11:03 on Saturday.
On Monday morning, Jason Lewis and Sam Sansevere took up hosting duties in place of Lee, for which Justice also thanked them.
