I grew up Catholic before becoming trans, now I live as a Barbie

A model who grew up in a strict Catholic family before coming out as trans has revealed that she now earns $75,000 a year on OnlyFans after spending a quarter of a million dollars on plastic surgery.

Lexi Lucks, who was born into the confines of a religious household in Alaska, grew up riddled with guilt about her sexual identity.

But, by young adulthood, the now 27-year-old was determined to become her true self and has spent more than $250,000 on plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures since 2015.

She now makes a living exclusively through her OnlyFans subscribers while channeling the spirit of mermaids, trans-Barbie dolls, models, reality-show stars and burlesque dancers – to name just a few.

Lexi, whose legal name is Alexandrea Bretz, is now based in Long Beach, California.

Her tantalizing Only Fans bio declares her an ‘all leggy, blonde trans bombshell.’

Of her presence on the adult subscription platform, where she’s become popular for ‘pinup risqué photo posts,’ as she puts it, she commented that the ‘niche market has been incredibly lucrative for me.’

That said, she’s recently decided to re-direct her creative output toward her Patreon, rather than channeling the bulk of her content to her OnlyFans.

‘While I still maintain my presence on OnlyFans, I am striving to pursue a more PG-13 approach to my livelihood. This decision stems from the societal stigma surrounding sex work in America, where it can be met with harsh judgment,’ she explained.

Her Patreon subscribers get access to Lexi’s Snapchats, her Instagram, her cosplay, pageantry and event-related media in addition to intimate details from Lexi’s journals and upcoming book.

She also creates content featuring her favorite cosplay/video game characters, inspired by her love of gaming.

While Lexi embraces the many personas she believes she was destined to embody today, she acknowledges that her path toward self-love has been a challenging one, requiring considerable time and introspection.

Growing up in Alaska, Lexi was immersed in a highly conservative religious environment that forced her to feel shame about her sexual inclinations.

‘I didn’t lose my virginity [to a man] until I was 20, and I was raised quite religious,’ she explained.

‘I’d have a sexual experience and then spend four hours reading the Bible. I’m not kidding. It was terrifying, and I felt terrible.’

Despite being born male, Lexi experienced an unwavering inner conviction that she was meant to be a girl from as young as six years old.

‘I loved dressing up in pretty clothing, wearing high heels and make-up and would often force my friends to do the same,’ she said.

She ultimately took up male modeling throughout her late teens and early 20s.

‘While my career in the modelling industry was going well, I couldn’t resist the temptation to dive back into truth as a woman. At 25, I rediscovered a part of me I’d never let go – and decided I wanted to dress how I felt inside.’

Lexi said she began attracting the attention of hordes of men – and enjoyed it.

‘The guys liked it, and I liked that the guys liked it, and I felt more feminine. I believe that orientation and identity should be compatible.

‘That is the difference between me and a typical trans person: that dysphoria is not something I experienced since I was androgynous.

‘I never looked in the mirror and thought, “I hate myself.” Of course, I wanted to improve myself, look better, and lose part of my manhood. Still, I was insensitive to other people when I did transition. I didn’t care what anyone else thought because it made me happy.’

Since identifying as a woman, Lexi explained she had left a trail of heartbroken romantic partners, male and female, in her wake.

‘I feel bad because many girls fell in love with me when I was a man, but I never found girls attractive, and I would put them in the friend zone,’ she said.

Over the past eight years, she’s dropped hundreds of thousands of dollars on nine operations – including two boob jobs, a rhinoplasty, fillers, Botox, a chin job and a chin and jaw shave.

But, after undergoing glottoplasty – a surgical procedure aimed at achieving a more feminine voice, Lexi faced a series of complications that greatly affected her ability to speak.

Consequently, she had no choice but to withdraw from the Miss California USA pageant, a competition she had dedicated years to preparing for, which left her heartbroken.

Despite this setback, she’s since managed to participate in the 2022 pageant.

‘To be honest, I took out a bunch of loans and got myself into hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. Things got worse during the COVID-19 pandemic and I was forced to file for bankruptcy,’ she stated of the aftermath of her surgeries.

‘It’s weird because I just got accepted for higher loans after that, which is how I afforded the operations – by declaring bankruptcy. But I have no regrets. I’ve been waiting for this moment my entire life.’

Since her last operation, Lexi has paid off most of her medical debts and is financially stable.

‘Ironically, my ex-boyfriend was the one who helped me squash my debt after he made a dying request,’ she explained.

Lexi’s ex-partner, who was in his 80s, recommended she post racy photos of herself online to make some extra money.

‘He went to a rehab center in Malibu, leaving me unable to support myself. I couldn’t even afford the rent,’ she explained. ‘His final words to me were “OnlyFans.” And that’s how it began.’

A University of Nevada alum, having majored in multidisciplinary studies and liberal arts with a dance minor, Lexi’s experience in undergrad and her passion for entertainment pushed her to create a performing-arts company centering marginalized communities.

That came to fruition when she launched Transcend, a pop-up burlesque venue featuring trans performers.

‘Every performer has a personal story to tell, and this platform allows a minority group to shine and demonstrate what they can do with their talent.

‘The goal is to establish a safe area for transgender women to succeed in the entertainment industry and a place where everyone feels welcomed and women are not discriminated against,’ she explained.

In other words, every woman has the opportunity to advance through the ranks.
