An emotional and nail-biting week is in store for The Block contestants as they begin working on their living and dining rooms.
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for the Blockheads.
In a sneak preview of the upcoming week, the teams are really put to the test as the show teases a ‘supersize week’ of ‘big ideas’, ‘big boo-boos’ and ‘big bust-ups’.

The trailer also shows a few big ideas from the contestants, including Rachel and Ryan’s ‘wall to ceiling stone fireplace’ and a Omar and Oz’s ‘baby grand piano’.
But of course, a massive week always comes with massive drama.
In one part of the clip, a ute can be seen getting dragged across the dirt driveway along with a vehicle trailer.
The camera then cuts to a distressed Sharon, who is in tears.

‘It’s just like impossible,’ she weeps, before the cameras show a clearly unimpressed Foreman Dan,.
‘It’s just excuses, all I’m hearing over there,’ he says bluntly.
It comes after controversial contestants Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra escalated their feud with host Scott Cam after he told them they needed to change their attitude.
Sharon called Scott ‘a grumpy old man’ during an interview with TV Week last week, saying he’d made no attempt to apologise after their most recent blow-up.

Shelley went in as good cop, asking the Melbourne couple how they were feeling, before Scott delivered the cold, hard facts.

The pair won $13,000 in prizes during an antiques challenge during last Wednesday’s episode when their dresser mirror made a $250 profit.
But the other teams weren’t happy and accused them of getting a ‘pity victory’ as the task required the teams to buy an item fit for a kitchen.

‘Full-blown sympathy vote, I think,’ rival contestant Tom told producers.
‘Come Sunday they’ll get a beautiful mirror in their kitchen,’ Omar laughed. ‘You can watch yourself cook!’
Meanwhile, Rachel reached breaking point and called Sharon and Ankur’s win unfair.
‘This isn’t a fair playing field,’ she said. ‘This [show] seems to have a way of breaking your spirit. But I hope that it’s all worth it.’
The Block continues from Tuesday to Thursday this week on Channel 9 after programming changed due to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II
