What’s better than becoming a three-time Olympic champion at the age of 18? Well, it’s a very short list, but being mentioned in the same breath as one of your favourite pop stars has to be near the top of it.
Summer McIntosh spoke with CBC Sports’ Devin Heroux after the Canadian swimmer was nominated as part of TIME100 Next, which recognizes the rising leaders in health, climate, business, sports, the arts and more.
That list also includes singer Sabrina Carpenter, to the absolute delight of McIntosh.
