Nate Myles cautioned by NRL official over Joseph Suaalii sideline incident

Nate Myles found himself in hot water in the State of Origin opener, with an NRL official stepping in to warn the Maroons assistant coach on Wednesday night.

After the horrific high shot from Joseph Suaalii resulted in a send off after seven minutes, the NSW debutant was confronted by Myles as he left the field.

As seen on the Nine broadcast, Myles could be seen yelling some choice words directed at Suaalii as he was taken from the field and towards the tunnel.

News Corp reports that an NRL official stepped in to warn Myles for his conduct.

At this stage, it’s unclear what Myles said to the Roosters centre, who is expected to face a lengthy stint on the sidelines for the incident.

The 20-year-old’s absence allowed the Maroons to take the lead into half-time and despite some shaky moments after the break, Billy Slater’s men did enough to win.
