Google is changing how 15 of its ‘biggest’ apps look: Names, details and more

“Big screen, big changes,” that was the message from Google at I/O 2022. Google is once again getting serious about tablets and making the Android experience better on large screen devices. “We’re optimizing the Android experience for larger tablet screens. 20+ Google apps will get makeovers so they’re easier to use and easier on the eyes,” said Google in a tweet. Here are the 20 Google apps that are getting a makeover for tablets. The redesigned apps will roll out gradually for Android tablets.

The Files app in Android will have a better navigation system as it will adopt a vertical interface, which will be easier to access on tablets.
