Temple, who recently received her second Emmy nomination for Ted Lasso, gushed about the show’s leading man, Jason Sudeikis, 46.
She noted that the actor also had a hand in casting the program as she explained, ‘I think he has this ability—with a lot of people cast in the show—to see something in all of us that we didn’t necessarily think we had in us at all.’
Revealing another behind-the-scenes tidbit, she admitted she thought it had been a mistake when Sudeikis originally reached out to her about working on the show.
‘He sent me a text and there was this moment where I thought, “Oh, gosh, this is going to be awkward because I’m pretty sure he’s text the wrong actress.”‘
