Tim Hasselbeck and Elisabeth Hasselbeck wed in 2002.
A year later, she was named a co-host of the ABC daytime talk show The View.
While attending Boston College, Elisabeth and Tim became friends. Throughout his tenure there, he was a member of the football squad at the school. She played softball for the team.
In October 2014, Tim was by his wife’s side while she recovered from surgery to remove an abdominal tumor.
On May 28, 1977, Elizabeth DelPadre and Kenneth Filarski welcomed their first child, Elisabeth (née Filarski), who would go on to become Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Her father was an architect, and her mother worked as a teacher at a Catholic school.
While Elisabeth chose not to follow in her mother’s footsteps, her brother Kenneth Jr. did, and he is currently a successful practicing lawyer. Elisabeth’s mother is of Italian descent, whereas her father is of Polish ancestry.
Elisabeth and her brother were brought up as practicing Catholics, and she still identifies as one. The kids had a wonderful upbringing and were fortunate to have a big family.
Elisabeth is a fantastic woman who had the lucky chance to attend St. Mary Academy – Bay View, one of the top universities in East Province. She attended Boston College the year after graduating high school in 1995. She played two seasons on the women’s softball team and was its captain.
