How to register online for Covid-19 vaccination on CoWin

Covid-19 is still very much around as the number of cases across the world keep fluctuating. However, there has been a marginal decline in the number of cases as compared to the ‘peak’ months, but taking into account the current situation, one can’t be fully assured that the pandemic does not exist anymore.

Covid-19 vaccinations have been rolled out for citizens for a while now and India has recently marked the one-year vaccination drive milestone. Around 1.56 billion people were vaccinated within a year to safeguard them from the disease, reported the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The vaccination drive began as primarily vaccinating the health care workers, frontline workers and senior citizens (above 60 years of age) followed by people over 45 with co-morbidities. Then came the turn of all adults 18 years and older. Starting January 3, 2022, teenagers in the 15-18 years age group were also included in the vaccination drive.
