A man is in serious condition after he was stabbed on a quiet suburban Sydney street in broad daylight.
Pictures show the man sitting up on the asphalt next to a pool of blood before he is treated by paramedics and bundled into the back of an ambulance to be rushed to hospital.
Police swarmed to the corner of Pitt Street and Sheffield Street at Merrylands in the city’s west on Sunday afternoon and have cordoned off the crime scene.
