Woman falls to her death at McKenzie’s Saddle Walking Track at Buangla

A woman has died after falling 50m from atop a popular lookout on NSW‘s south coast.

Emergency services were called to a lookout along the McKenzie’s Saddle Walking Track at Buangla shortly before midday on Monday.

Police Rescue and the Toll Helicopter were dispatched before the body of a woman was found a short time later below the remote lookout.

An operation by Police Rescue is now underway to retrieve the woman’s body, with officers to also prepare a report for the coroner.

Located inland from Nowra, McKenzie lookout and walking track is considered a lesser-known trail and offers views of Yalwal State Forest.
