Donald Trump arrives at his New York City home showing off his slimmed down 215lb frame and strawberry locks after hosting Bikers For Trump at Bedminster

Donald Trump arrived in New York City on Monday to spend Labor Day evening ensconced in Trump Tower, as his lawyers in the city remain hard at work on his multiple legal cases.

The 77-year-old earlier on Monday was at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey, where he welcomed around 70 members of the Bikers for Trump group.

Trump spent the traditional last day of summer with his devoted fans, and praised them on social media, thanking them for their support.

‘A very large group of ‘Bikers for Trump’ just left Bedminster,’ he wrote on Truth Social.

‘What a great time we all had. The motorcycles were AMAZING, the love and enthusiasm absolutely ‘beyond.’ Thank you all. We must WIN in 2024. MAGA!’

Hours later he was in Manhattan, looking decidedly slimmer in his suit than he did a few months ago.

When he was booked into Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia, Trump gave his height as 6ft 3 and his weight as 215 pounds – the same height and weight as Muhammad Ali in his prime.

The given weight at the jail means that Trump has shed nearly 30 pounds since his last official White House physical, which was made public in June 2020.

The New York-born businessman, indicted on 91 criminal counts and running for re-election in 2024, is certainly under significant stress.

Last week there were significant developments in both his New York City cases, criminal and civil, and Trump may have been in Manhattan to speak to his legal team.

In the criminal case, involving hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, it emerged that Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, had been informed about a potential scheduling conflict.

Bragg’s case, overseen by Judge Juan Merchan, had a March 24 start date, which was set in May.

Last week, on August 28, Bragg was informed that the federal case of election interference would start on March 4.

Judges and prosecutors discuss among themselves any potential scheduling conflict, and come to an agreement about the order in which to proceed.

Bragg has said in the past that, although his office was the first of four jurisdictions to bring charges against Trump, he would not object to other cases going to trial first.

Trump’s legal team in the Manhattan case had until August 29 to file any motions.

The prosecutors must respond by October 10.

In the civil case of fraud at the Trump Organization, the New York attorney general, Letitia James, last week asked the judge for a partial summary judgement in her $250 million case.

James is seeking to avoid going to trial, and claimed there was a ‘mountain of undisputed evidence’ of false and misleading financial statements.

The New York trip marks a rare return of the former president to the city where he was born and spent most of his adult life.

Trump was last seen at Trump Tower on May 31.

His wife Melania was there in June, but is now believed to be in Florida, where their son Barron, 17, is resuming school in West Palm Beach.

The couple are now primarily based in Florida, with summers in New Jersey.
