Lenovo has launched a new Android tablet in India, the Tab P12. The Tab P12 comes with a 12.7-inch LTPS display, MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, Quad JBL speakers, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about Lenovo’s new tablet.

Lenovo Tab P12: Price, availability in India

Lenovo Tab P12 comes in a single storage and RAM variant — 256GB UFS 2.2 and 8GB LPDDR4x, starting at a special launch price of Rs 34,999. The Tab P12 is priced at INR 34,999, and it will be available to purchase through Flipkart and Lenovo.com.

Lenovo Tab P12 packs in a 12.7-inch LTPS display with a resolution of 2944×1840 pixels and up to 400 nits of brightness. The display covers 96 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, has a 60Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Further, the tablet has a JBL-tuned quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

Powering the Lenovo Tab P10 is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7020 chipset. The Dimensity 7020 is an octa-core chipset equipped with an Arm Mali G68 GPU. The tablet runs Android 13 out-of-the-box.

The tablet comes in a single storage variant – 6GB+256GB. There is an SD card slot for expanding internal storage up to 1TB.

Connectivity options include WI=FI 6 and BlueTooth 5.1. There is a USB-C 2.0 port for data transfer and charging and a 3-point pogo pin connector on the back for attaching the keyboard. The power button is integrated into the power button.

The tablet features a 13MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front.

The Lenovo Tab P12 comes with Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, which works with the Nebo and MyScript Calculator 2 apps. The tablet can also be transformed into a wireless drawing pad for Windows PCs using Lenovo Freestyle. Additionally, it can easily switch from entertainment to productivity by snapping on its ThinkPad-inspired keyboard for typing.

Users can simultaneously access four apps in split-screen mode and manage up to five floating windows. The tablet has a reading mode with background music and eye care features.
