Poco M6 Pro to launch in India on August 5

5G connectivity is becoming common in smartphones, and it is a feature that many people are looking for. Now, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco has confirmed that the upcoming Poco M6 will offer 5G connectivity. The teaser was posted on the Poco India Twitter account, and it shows the phone with “5G” written on the back.

Himanshu Tandon, Poco India head, shared the first teaser image of the Poco M6 Pro 5G on Twitter. Although the teaser image does not reveal detailed specifications, we already know quite a bit about the device. The Poco M6 Pro 5G is expected to come as a successor to the Poco M4 Pro 5G that debuted in the country in February last year. However, given the release of the teaser, the launch is expected to be just around the corner.

Poco M6 Pro is scheduled to launch in India on August 5. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart website.
Poco M6 Pro: Expected features
According to a report by Xiaomiui, Poco M6 Pro 5G will have a 6.79-inch IPS LCD panel with 90 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to come out of the box with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Poco M6 Pro 5G could pack a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. The fingerprint sensor will be placed on the power key.

A teaser image of the Poco M6 Pro 5G has been released. The phone is shown in Cyan with curved panels on the back. It has a similar appearance to the Poco M4 Pro 5G, with the same rectangular camera module and dual-tone design. The Poco M6 Pro 5G also has a dual-camera setup on the back, as well as an LED flash. The Poco branding is also visible on the back of the phone.
