The co-hosts were visibly shocked by the revelation with Sally pointing out it was enough money to go on a holiday.
‘Nearly $5,000!’ Alex exclaimed.
‘Want to give yourself insomnia? Do that calculation since when you first started drinking apparently I’ve spent, I don’t know, closer to $150k in my life on drinking,’ Jules said.
Listeners were also taken aback by the statistic and one viewer pointed out ‘last minute drunk Ubers’ would also add up.
‘I don’t want to know how much I’ve spent in total on drinking,’ one woman said.

Jules said giving up the grog was difficult and her body went into withdrawal but she advised those who want to do the same to persist for four to six weeks.
‘To get the real benefits you need to go just over four weeks,’ she said on the podcast.
‘I had night sweats, my appetite went up, you put on weight, by the way, because I’m not partying, I’m eating and eating a lot.’
Jules also experienced ‘throbbing headaches’ which she said was from her liver detoxing.
‘Then mentally I was like, ‘Wait, I don’t feel like a piece of shit three times a week’. You start to feel so much better about yourself,’ she said.
‘Your skin improves, your luck, now everything is just suddenly aligning.’
