PUBG Mobile announces partnership with Dragon Ball Super

PUBG Mobile has partnered Dragon Ball Super to bring its characters to the game along with other features, including super speed and flying vehicles. Dragon Ball Super is one of the most renowned Japanese Anime franchises of all time. The widely popular battle royal game company announced the partnership via a Twitter post. As of now, four characters, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Frieza are officially confirmed to come to the game.

The collaboration is set to hit Tencent Games‘ in July 2023 carrying the version 2.7 update. PUBG initially announced the partnership in August 2022 for the mobile gaming community. This collaboration also marks the first-ever partnership between Dragon Ball Super and a mobile-exclusive game.

The company is yet to announce other details of the PUBG Mobile and Dragon Ball Super collaboration. While playing, gamers will get to explore gaming costumes, accessories, and weapon skins, developed to represent the series’ distinct aesthetics. These items will allow players to customise their in-game characters with Dragon Ball Super components, giving it a personal touch.

However, this isn’t the first time that the game has entered into a partnership with Anime and other animated content. Earlier, PUBG Mobile partnered with other popular series like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Jujutsu Kaisen, and League of Legends’ Arcane, which brought some amazing themed content to its fans.

During the PUBG Mobile and Dragon Ball Super event, gamers will get to see their favourite Anime characters including Goku, Frieza, Piccolo and Vegeta enter the PUBG Mobile, with some exclusive outfits and other rewards up for grabs.
