The husband of 1000-LB Sisters star Tammy Slaton has died aged 40, just a year after they tied the knot.
Caleb Willingham, who met Slaton at an obesity rehab center, passed away this week of unknown causes, his stepmother Shirley told TMZ.
The 40-year-old, nicknamed ‘Double K’, starred on the weight loss show alongside his wife as they battled their chronic obesity.
The two got married after knowing each other for a few weeks, but Slaton told People at the time: ‘Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room. I literally married my best friend.’
However, The Sun reported in May that the two were set to divorce because Caleb was ‘refusing to stick to his diet’.

The state of the couple’s relationship had been the subject of speculation for months, with fans noticing she had removed Willingham’s name from some of her social media handles.
With rumors swirling around their divorce, an insider told The Sun that after a falling out over their diets, Tammy was ‘ready to file for divorce’.
‘They split up because Caleb hasn’t been following his diet in rehab,’ they alleged at the time. ‘He has gained 30lbs and hasn’t been working his program.’
They claimed Willingham tried to repair their marriage while they were separated, but his efforts were unsuccessful and Slaton was reportedly set to finalize the divorce.
According to TikTok star Sarah Fraser, his failing marriage had left him distraught, when he allegedly posted on Facebook: ‘We are married by paper only right now. Her decision not mine.
‘I’m hurt, mad, confused and alone even with others around,’ he added.
Willingham’s cause of death has not been released.

Tammy won legions of fans as she starred alongside her sister Amy Slaton in hit show ‘1000-LB Sisters’.
She underwent bariatric surgery last year and shed over 300lbs, but Caleb’s struggles with his weight seemingly drove them apart.
The insider who revealed their divorce said it was Caleb that actually asked for the divorce, before he tried to ‘backtrack’ and win her back.
However, they said their decision to part ways was met with glee among her family members.
‘Tammy’s sisters Amy and Amanda were already encouraging her to just move on,’ they said. ‘She wants someone who can be there for her and his health keeps declining.
‘She would have to take care of him once he’s out of rehab, and that is her taking on the care of a whole other person when she can barely take care of herself, so the relationship is pointless.’
