Joseph Suaalii has been ruled out of his first game back from suspension after he copped a head-knock in training during the week.

Suaalii was suspended for three matches for lifting his knee into the head of Bulldogs skipper Reed Mahoney in round 14.

He was named to make his return on Sunday afternoon on the Roosters wing against the Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval, but will have to wait another week.

“He’s out. He got a bit of a knock yesterday. That’s a bit disappointing so he will have to wait a couple of weeks,” Robinson told media on Saturday morning.

“He just had a (head) clash at training and didn’t pull up great from it. It’s pretty mild but not enough to get through the game.”

Centre Billy Smith has also been ruled out for the same reason.

Junior Pauga will play on the wing in cover for Suaalii, and will have Corey Allen on his inside. Joey Manu has switched sides.

After the Sea Eagles clash, the Roosters are one of seven teams to have a bye and will take on the Storm in round 20.
