Oppo launched the Reno 10 5G series in China last month. The smartphone maker is now set to add these new models to its product portfolio in India. The lineup will include three new smartphones — Oppo Reno 10 5G, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+. Oppo has revealed some of the key specs and a few details about the smartphone’s availability. However, the company is yet to confirm the official launch date and Indian price of the lineup. A poster that is making rounds of Twitter and has been shared by several tipsters suggests that the Oppo Reno 10 series may launch on July 10. The company is yet to confirm the launch date officially. However, Oppo has already confirmed that the smartphone will be available on the e-commerce website Flipkart.
Oppo Reno 10 series: Key specs (confirmed)
The company has already confirmed that the smartphones in the upcoming series will be available in two colour options — Ice Blue and Silvery Grey. Smartphones in this lineup are set to sport a curved display that’ll support a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC, while the Pro variant will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Meanwhile, the top variant (Pro+) will come powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro and Pro+ variants will pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For optics, the smartphones will house a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor that will support OIS. Meanwhile, the Pro and the Pro+ variants will feature a 32MP and a 64MP telephoto unit for portraits with OIS, respectively. The periscope design of the telephoto unit will offer a 3x optical telephoto setup. The Pro variants will also offer 120x hybrid zoom and the closest focus distance of this camera will be 25cm. Apart from this, the Pro variants will also sport an 8MP Sony IMX355, a 112° ultra-wide-angle unit. For selfies and video calls, the Oppo Reno 10 series will also feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor.
