Love Island‘s Coco Lodge has said she felt like she was ‘done dirty’ by the show’s producers over her promotional photograph.
Before all the Islanders enter the Mallorca villa, they pose for a string of pictures to promote their appearance on the ITV2 dating show.
But Coco, who arrived in the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell, has claimed that she was ‘done dirty’ with her professional snap, describing it as ‘horrendous’.
Not impressed: Love Island’s Coco Lodge has said she felt like she was ‘done dirty’ by the show’s producers over her promotional photograph
The graphic designer, 27, went as far as to call it ‘something out of a horror film’ as she appeared on Closer’s Love Island Secrets with fellow bombshells Chyna Mills and Josh Samuel Le Grove.
She said: ‘Mine is horrendous, they did me so dirty on that. No, vile. You can’t even see my face, my hair’s like covering it. I look like something out of a horror film.’
Her fellow Islander Chyna, 23, said they never got to see the pictures before they were released, adding: ‘Yeah, mine was not cute at all.’
While Josh, 22, said their promotional pictures were ‘a bit harsh’ as he agreed with his co-stars.

Coco has been vocal in speaking out about her time in the Love Island villa and previously hit out at the off-screen behaviour of some of the male contestants.
The reality star was almost moved to tears as she recalled the moment she learned second hand that one of the original boys had described her as a ‘four out of 10’ when comparing her to her fellow female Islanders.
Speaking on The Murad Merali Podcast, Coco said: ‘There was comments made when the filming was off that I was a four out of 10 by some of the boys.’
When asked who had made the remarks, she added: ‘I don’t know who said it, Summer heard it.’
Coco added that one of the ‘original’ boys was overheard talking about her, with Coco describing the comments as ‘sexist’.

She said: ‘Yeah, you’re a four out of 10, Paige is a 12. I think they said it to Paige, I don’t really know.
‘These comments were made and I had a really hard time in there as it was. I was crying a lot for the first few days.’
She went on to talk of the reaction that viewers had to her appearance on social media after she left the villa.
Coco admitted she did not expect people to be so negative after reading nasty comments from viewers online.
She said: ‘I didn’t expect it… it hurts to see because it’s about your appearance.
Oh dear: Her fellow Islander Chyna, 23, said that they never got to see the pictures before they were released, adding: ‘Yeah, mine was not cute at all’
‘How I was perceived on the show isn’t my personality, they’ve edited me to look a certain way. But to comment about my appearance is honestly hurtful… They don’t choose the most flattering stuff.’
Coco also revealed her father called Love Island producers to intervene due to her mental health deteriorating during her time on the ITV dating show.
The influencer, who was dumped from the villa on July 15, has opened up about her ‘really hard’ experience in the villa.
The graphic designer admitted her journey was a struggle as she found her self ‘hyperventilating and crying loads’.
Speaking on FUBAR Radio’s Access All Areas: ‘When I was in the villa, apparently my Dad called the producers and was like, you need to show her full personality because what you’re showing is causing so much hate….you’re going to ruin my daughter’s mental health.’

When asked how she found her experience, Coco responded by saying it was a ‘rollercoaster’.
Coco initially had a spark with Davide who kissed her on the first night of Casa Amor.
Coco then found a strong connection with Andrew, who he recoupled with before rekindling his romance with Tasha Ghouri.
It comes after Coco spoke out about the devastating affects an eating disorder had on her body after her weight dropped to just six stone at the age of 17.
She drastically reduced her calorie intake and relentlessly exercised in a bid to get rid of ‘the pouch at the bottom of my belly’ before the disorder spiralled out of her control.

Her parents said they would send her to a residential facility in a bid to get her back to good health when she became emaciated, with the television personality saying: ‘My body was shutting down.’
Speaking to Johnny Seifert on the Secure The Insecure Podcast, Coco said: ‘My parents obviously got involved because they saw I was unwell.
‘I was six stone, my period had stopped, my skin had grown hair on it to try and keep me warm, my body was shutting down.’
Coco said she was stunned when she was admitted to hospital but not referred on for further treatment, adding: ‘My weight shouldn’t have been considered okay.’
She said her mother encouraged her to get a personal trainer so she could learn to gain weight in a healthy way while nurturing her into eating a balanced diet.
Couple: Coco found a strong connection with Andrew Le Page during Casa Amor and coupled up with him, before he rekindled things with Tasha Ghouri
Coco recalled her parent telling her: ‘If you don’t get a PT and gain weight, and start eating, I’m going to send you to hospital myself. I’m going to send you to a home for girls with eating disorders.’
The reality star said she always had a ‘pouch at the bottom of my belly’, adding that she has always been insecure about her tummy.
She said: ‘I guess people always pointed out in my body, like, ‘Oh, you’ve got like a double’, we would call it that when I was younger, the lower stomach.’
Coco explained that she’s got an ‘obsessive personality’ and, when she stared losing weight and going to the gym at the age of 17, she started to get ‘competitive’.

She said she was eating two egg whites and drinking one protein shake in a day at one point before going to bed at 6pm to stop herself from eating again in the evening.
Coco said she’d spend up to three hours a day in the gym and would constantly take pictures of herself.
She eventually got a personal trainer and started building muscle healthily before getting further into weight training and nutrition.
Coco said: ‘I was gaining a healthy weight. I eventually gained my period but I still kind of had an obsession with the gym…
‘I was literally sugar free for three years, including sauces like ketchup. I wouldn’t touch it.
‘Now I’ve done a whole 360. I know more about the gym, because I’ve been studying a PT course and training.’
She added: ‘As I’ve got older I’ve accepted my body is never going to be like a supermodel…
‘I just have to accept who I am. I’m happy with it now, but I wasn’t when I was younger.’
